Anyone got a space in a car traveling from Fairhead to Glasgow (or even better Aviemore) (or otherwise any train station in Scotland) either late on sunday 4th June or daytime monday 5th June following the Fairhead meet? Will gladly split fuel costs and contribute towards ferry etc. Thanks

Hi,

I'm not certain if I'm going to the meet yet or not but I have been trying to organise it for a few weeks now. The ferry cost was putting me and a friend off, but splitting some of that may make it feasible. I live just north of Aviemore. Do you know how/when you are getting out there?

Ferries are Indeed very expensive compared against England to France. Maybe cheaper to fly and hire a car. Or get the new passenger ferry from Campbeltown to Ballycastle

I've been looking into going as a foot passenger and then hiring a car. I try not to fly short distances, for better or worse...
