Has anyone been over to the Isle of Man in a campervan (not during the mayhem of TT week)? Did you buy a permit to park up overnight, or use campsites? Or did you just find quiet, out of the way spots to sleep?
We're heading over there in a couple of months, just for a couple of nights, and plan to just find somewhere out of the way to sleep, as we would normally do anywhere else. Is that likely to cause friction with locals? I've read mixed opinions online. Thanks.
