Hi all,

Does anyone know if anyone has improved upon Mark Thomas's 16hrs 17 for the Lakes classic rock round (all the Lake District routes in Classic Rock linked by running)?

Cheers.

Hey Chris, to my knowledge it hasn't been beaten.

Hey Pete,

Cheers for that. Have you had a go, or thought about it?

Yes I'm keen to give it a try, looks like a great excuse to spend what sounds like a cracking day in the fells! Nothing compared to Caff's efforts a few years ago mind...

I've not done it yet but if you need a partner Iam keen.

I was talking to a mate about it but I don't think he's got the legs to do it as a running challenge.
I not a fell runner but I did the BG solo last year in just over 22 hrs so should be ok.

I would want to reccy a few climbs as downclimbs though, as I've not done much of that, one of the Pillar routes and Gillercombe Buttress maybe.
I think Needle Ridge should be ok though just locating the top from Tophet Wall.

Let me know
Cheers
