Anyone been to Greece recently and used the new road that was scheduled to open 'end of 2016"?
It's supposed to cut the journey from Leonidio to Kiparissi to 35km, but if anyone has first hand experience, what does that translate to in driving time?

I remember watching them building it in 1991, get to the other end did they?
The road into Kiparissi itself was made in the mid 80´ s, privately paid for by a Greek tanker captain who came from there, before then it was boat only. Next down the coast at G(i)erakas the road from the north was done by Kojak (Telly Savales) whose mum lived opposite the taverna.

I went there last month, stayed in Kyparissi, the new road cuts the time to Leonidio to 1 hour 20 mins down from about 3 hours.
