Hi,

Just wanted to clarify... No permit needed now for Berdorf... Just be part of BMC etc? Anyone been recently? Still a good place to climb?

No permit needed when we were there last year, we are members of the BMC, dont know if thats enforced or not, but we didnt get asked or approached by anyone. One my new favourite single pitch crags, love the place!

Yeah that's correct, make sure you have your bmc card with you.
I was there last weekend, and it's still a great place. One tip to think about is looking when the Dutch bank holidays are and avoiding those weekends. Half the climbers there come down from the Netherlands and you'll be queueing on their holidays. (there aren't anymore till Christmas)

The information on the UKC Crag page, Berdorf, is up to date. I visited in October last year and requested the update.
