After the weather closed in today we started to head home but found it dry a few miles down the road so stopped off at Shining cliff.
After getting warmed up I decided to have a go at Lazy Day (using the bolts). Does any one know to story behind the 7 bolts on this route? I mean they're long way from modern bolts, look homemade and I wouldn't want to fall hard as they have certain seen better days but they're bolts!! On grit!!!

In reply to Tigger:

It's an old aid route from the days that was OK.

In reply to Tigger:

Ah ok, looks like the bottom bolt or two were chopped sometime ago, leaving a rather looses and rusted clip up, not relics I'd want to fall on but perhaps gently slump onto if required.

They were not much good when I aided this route on a winters afternoon, which was nearly 40 years ago.
