Hi all,

Going to be spending a lot of time in N Wales over Summer.
Looking for recommendations for things to do when it's wet! If it's free/ cheap, even better!
Spent most of the past week at Parisellas/ Great Orme
Plan to do Lockwoods Chimney one rainy day

Any other ideas appreciated!

More walking/running than you could wish for

Agreed - loads of walking/running!
Biggest problem is drying out as we're living in our van so guess I'm after some of the 'drier' (eg. more sheltered) or shorter activities where possible.
Loving the running round here though --- & the free 'shower' (dip) in Llanberis Lake post run is an added bonus!

Anglesey. Often dry when the hills are wet.

I think Bangor Rugby Team have been told to lay off the sugary soft drinks.

In reply to Chris Harris:

Yep, Anglesey.

Last few weekends I've been up that way, rain in the mountains, sunburn at Gogarth.
In reply to katyc:

Bouldering at Porth Ysgo, often ok when mountains are under rain
