Bit of pointless Friday afternoon fun,

Name any famous climbers with appropriate monikers, variations are excepted, e.g. Johnny Barn-Dawes.

Isn't it an amazing coincidence that probably the greatest british rock climber is called Joe Brown when there are so many routes with the word brown in the name

Leaches stick to things?
 Fakey Rocks 23 Jul 2017
In reply to Timmd:
Yeah but they don't climb, they just stick there sucking, i can't imagine mark got up cry freedom etc doing that, but suckers would defo help with shaking out + climbing, but it would not b considered a clean ascent. He wasn't an aid climber.
If someone had barnacle for a surname, it wouldn't be climbing related would it?... , well, actually sort of a bit better than leach, at least they stick to Rock!
Sorry to spoil the fun
There must b a climber with barnacle for a surname? Or sloth? Monk(ey) ?

Cheers ... i didn't know they could do that.

I'm/ was/ good at psy-trance partying on acid / mushrooms, in a field / woods / quarry, followed by a touch of Katy now n then, it's been a while though, yrs, house parties i do feel very out of place, + becomes a wallflower.. Hey! Wallflower... thats climbing related.
How's the rotator cuff thing going.? .. I've got that too, increasing the theraband stuff from a couple of times a wk to every other day or as many days u can fit it in actually makes a difference, but i'm still not fixed... Will b looking into MRI + bone spurs surgery etc. myself soon perhaps!
Any climbers called R.Cuff?

Happy to help. The rotator cuff injury evolved into frozen shoulder, which is a barrel of fun. I had keyhole surgery on it & it's OK now.

It's an interesting experience to watch your own operation live on screen.

I've climbed with a guy whos real first name is Stone. That was about 20 years ago, I've seen him at the tor a couple of years ago and I think he's fairly frequently found there, not famous but possibly been around a bit to be known.

Is that the short guy with the incredibly hairy ears? Every time I went down the Tor from about 1997 to 2010 he was there. Every time.
