Hi,

I am in the market for a new van:

- Regular panel van (to convert to a camper myself) or a pre-converted campervan
- Fuel efficient (40+ mpg)
- Less than 100,000 miles

My preference is for a Transporter, Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro, Peugeot Expert or Fiat Scudo, but I would consider others.

If you're selling a van or know of a suitable van for sale, please let me know.

I'm based in in the south east, I'm happy to travel up to 3-4 hours to collect.

Thanks,
Eann

Hi Paul, how old is the van (what year)? And what's the mileage?

Hold that thought, just popping outside to check.... 92 362. 07 reg. Bought by me from new, plus I have replaced the clutch and the gear box in the last year. Has a full electric pack, diesel heater leisure battery and split charger. Both batteries less than 12 months old.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm looking for something more fuel efficient. If it was the trafic eco engine (2012 - onwards), I would be keen. Cheers

Are you set on that size or would you consider something smaller?

A friend is selling a LWB VW Caddy that's half converted. It's been professionally done so far and has electrics, insulation, roof vents, windows, good walls/cladding etc etc. Just doesn't have a bed etc in it but the base is there to do the last bits with.

Mileage is a bit over 70k and I think it's 2012/13 model.

But smaller than you were looking at but it's a decent little van if you wanted to compromise on height...

Thanks James. The Caddy is probably a bit small for my needs.
