Hey all, I'm going to be in Rwanda for a couple of weeks in November and it would be nice to find a little climbing for a couple of days. Anyone been and could offer any suggestions?

I was there a few months ago. Outside Kigali it's mostly soil and mud with landslides due to rain/deforestation being common. Let us know if you find anything suitable as I may be going back soon.

I've only travelled in Rwanda so can't really comment as to what the climbing is like. Most of what I saw was either forested or cultivated hills and I didn't see much in the way of bare rock but there must be something there given the number of hills. If you can't find climbing I'd thoroughly recommend crossing into DRC to hike up nyiragongo to see the lava lake as a good way to spend a couple of days.
