As it says. I'm after a new crag sack to replace my Lowe Alpine Crag Attack 42 that is on its last legs. They do the Peak Ascent 42 which i'm considering but is there something similar? budget upto £100. might push to £120! mostly used for day cragging in the Peak so doesnt have to be that comfy.

The Peak Accent is a nice pack but I've had mine since February and haven't used it more than 50 days, I have packs that I bought second hand and have had for years that aren't doing much worse than the Peak Accent. I don't think it's all that durable.

DMM Vector 45L http://dmmclimbing.com/products/vector/ £72-£85 depending on where you buy it

I genuinely think the 35quid rock bag from decathlon is great. Better than my DMM flight which it replaced. I'd rather have decathlon one even if the flight was the same price. It looks a bit silly like a big box but is really useful and flexible. Holds as much as the DMM well despite apparently being smaller.

For day cragging, I love the Climbing Technology Falesia -- not least for the full-length zipper so I don't have to worry that the thing I'm looking for is at the bottom of the pack. 45 litres, currently seems to sells for circa £49-£55 depending on where you buy it from. Has been adequately comfy on hour-long walk-ins.

It's included in the bag review here: https://www.ukclimbing.com/gear/review.php?id=3625

Might not be what you're looking for, but worth a look.

If you're not going to climb with it, I'd recommend the DMM Flight or something similar with a zip open design. I won mine, but I'd now not go back to a traditional top loading sack for general cragging.

However, if you think you might occasionally climb with it, the Arc'teryx Alpha FL 45 is probably by far the best current option for a climbing and mountaineering pack - http://m.outdoorgearlab.com/reviews/climbing/mountaineering-backpack/arcter...

Whilst not a sexy climbing brand like Lowe or DMM I really like my vango boulder 35litre, also avaiable in 45 litre. I think I paid £40 for it and it does the job nearly as well as a bag 3 times the price.
