I'm heading to Fishguard tomorrow with the kids for a few days. Can anyone recommend me a local guide for some climbing along that stretch of coastline?

Volume 1 of the Climber's Club definitive guides, entitled Pembroke North, covers that area. Or, if you want a selective guide to the whole of Pembroke, I'd really recommend the 2016 Wired Guides Pembroke Rock.

There's also a Rockfax selective but it's older and covers less than the Wired version.

I wonder which of us interpreted his question correctly. On rereading his original message, my money's on you.

Thanks for the guidebook recommendations but I should have said 'Guide' with a capital G!!

Hi. We just got back from Fishguard today. There is some really good bouldering just ten minutes away at Mynndd Dinas. There is a free guide here:

It is easy to find, and fine for children. You wouldn't need a 'Guide' just a pad.
