[Home - Cornwall Bouldering]
Rowan Spear-Bulmer and Tom Bunn climb some great looking boulders on a weekend trip to Cornwall.

Nice to see some West Penwith action.

I thought bouldering, just like bolting, was banned in Cornwall

Jokes aside, it looks really good. Guessing the reason for there being so little recorded down there is because so few people have gone looking for it. Lots of granite boulders around, so it kind of figures there'd be a load of good problems on said boulders too...

No doubt we'll be seeing + hearing more about them in years to come.

No just the reporting of ascents

Fair play to Tom he has been really active in searching out the hidden gems.

Accidentally watched this with the sound off (thinking it was an artistic choice), worked surprisingly well.
I'll give it another look with the sound on at some point. Nice footage.

Some really good stuff down that way and must say I enjoyed Young Blood immensely, once I had got over the fear of the pretty shocking landing!

Would like to see some more info on the other problems and other stuff down there!

Get down there people it is excellent!

Are any of these problems/ developments on the UKC routes database? One of my favourite parts of the UK down there so would love to explore more!

Great stuff, well filmed

Did some very low level bouldering on the coast in Cornwall, that rock is just incredible. Super solid and full of so many confidence inspiring crystals, destroys your hands though!

carn brae is pretty good Carn Brea I first climbed on it before it was well known (going back about 15 years now I guess), but even then there were some chalk marks around (but no sign of other boulderers actually climbing)
