I suspect that there's a bit of photoshopping going on here. The car park is Pen y Pass with the road behind leading to Pen y gwryd but the mountains behind are from somewhere completely different. Alps possibly?

Yes I thought Alps.

To be fair there was no continuity in the advert at all...but it's also a pretty poor attempt - a kid could do better with instasnapchat

I though Gasherbrum 4 initially.

Especially as someone from Visit Wales was banging on about what a great showcase of the "epic landscape of Snowdonia" it was. She almost didn't believe me when I told her that it was a composite image with a background from elsewhere.

I'm certain there's a bit of dodgy camera tilting going on at 1:03 too.

Picked up on this when the ad first came out. It is nothing like the view you actually get from that position.
Photoshopped snowy mountains where Cnicht should be.

Rather ironically the strap line is "Be true to yourself" in the advert

Doubly ironic given the focus of the advert is Bradley "TUE & Jiffybag" Wiggins
