Hi, I'm looking for a copy of the Shropshire bouldering guide.

In reply to James Meredith:
You've probably already figured this out but copies are rare as hen's teeth.
I don't know how large the print run was but it took me a good few years before I found someone selling one, so good luck.

Yes I had realised! I remember browsing the new ones in High Sports...

I figured I would ask occasionally and see what happens!

In reply to James Meredith:

I have something else rare I would be willing to trade, a copy of 'West Midlands Rock'! Maybe someone has a bouldering guide they would be happy to trade?

In reply to James Meredith:

What would you be expecting to pay for the Shropshire Bouldering Guide
out of interest?

I have West Mids Rock and Unworths 1962 pontesford guide so no swaps.

In reply to James Meredith:
I'm pretty sure if you ask Stuart at High Sports he would help you out.

In reply to starbug:
Unsworth's guide really does stand the test of time for Pontesford.

Difficult one on the value of the bouldering guide, I have never seen one for sale

Are you suggesting there is a secret stash of unsold books? I have asked in High Sports, and been told they don't have any. I haven't asked Stuart directly though

In reply to James Meredith:

I don't know if he has a stash but pretty sure he'd help out if he could. And sure he'd be interested to know if there is demand for Shropshire/Midlands guides.

In reply to cankerblossom:

I'm sure he would help if he could. He has been very helpful in the past. I get the impression that a second edition is some way off...
