Medway climbing scene and walls

Hi there,

I'm new to UKC so hope this is the correct place to post this? I've just moved out of London to the Medway area, and was wondering what the climbing scene was like in the area? I've also heard a few rumors of a new centre potentially opening next year. Has anyone heard anything about it?

If anyone knows any more info, I would be extremely grateful.

scene around there would be the sandstone crags around Tonbridge. Have you been?

Without intending to be pedantic, the sandstone crags are based around Tunbridge Wells, mainly to the south.

to the OP, there is Chimera an excellent indoor bouldering facility just outside of TW. I've never been disappointed by their setting.

There is a place in Rochester I think, although I believe it's quite small but still it's an option. In general though there isn't much round that area.
