I think Savage Arena for me is the most inspiring (and humbling) climbing book I've read.

Its a book that stands the test of time and re-reading too.The Boardman/Tasker Omnibus contains 4 books all of which are worth reading I think.

Having read Tasker's books, Dick Renshaw comes across as an intense and interesting character (even more so than Tasker incredibly). Does he still climb I wonder.

Renshaw suffered multiple strokes on Boardman and Tasker's last expedition and was brought down the mountain.
