Just off to North America for 3 weeks. AAC will cover rescue/meds etc but not 3rd party. Any recommendations for decent insurers for USA? (not UK resident at the mo so not BMC or STA).

You could try Sports Cover Direct (comparable cover to BMC when I used it, but check). I doubt AAC give adequate medical cover for the US.

I'd also be worried about AAC cover for medical expenses in the US. Things are getting so expensive there it will soon become too costly for most climbers to visit.
