Chris Schulte, 4 kbOur Friday Night Video this week is from Chris Schulte and he's off the beaten path in Switzerland. He explains his motivations behind looking first ascents and climbing solo. He's often found in the blank spaces of the maps—the spots "where the monsters be" as he says, where a lighter tread is required and the blocs are raw and require vision.

Putting a video on youtube is a way to guarantee it will be forgotten. Lots of people will watch it and a day later they won't be able to tell you what they saw.
