Hi everyone. I am planning a trip to the Dachstein area for 3 days in a couple of weeks' time. Never been there before - does anyone have any recommendations / logistics advice?

If this clears (not sure at the moment), place yourself on the southside.

I got a PDF file with a lot of stuff on it regarding VF routes in Dachstein. We ended up at the Bergsteigen alps instead but the info we didn't end up using looked first class. Email me if you want it although it should still be kicking about online. Good luck.

I've spent the last 19 years running the caving project on/under the Dachstein & have done a few of the via ferratas/klettersteigs around the area so feel free to ping me a pm if you want some specifics.
