I found in a box an old Garmin Etrex GPS and a Suunto Altimeter E203.

Any good to anyone? Scout / kids groups - for educational purpose rather than relying on them for safety. I assume they work with batteries - no reason they wouldn't.

Try putting them in the "for sale" forum and see if you get any takers.
Plenty of people still prefer to navigate with map and compass but might like to have a GPS in reserve to give them their grid reference if they get lost. That's pretty much all I use my 14 year old etrex for.

I'm not having the hassle of selling them, especially old stuff. Have you read the UKC terms of sale?

I gave mine away to one of the young lads at our local climbing wall. As you say, not worth the hassle of selling and nice to pass on

Advertise in the for sale forum as for free? I've got rid of stuff twice like that. No hassle just a couple of emails and people came and took the stuff away.
