Flight times have left me with a full [day sat 4th] to fill
Will not have car or bike, bus is a option.
Any local knowledge that can give a walk something around the 10 + mile mark.
I will need to be back to Shannon in the evening.

Get the bus to Lahinch and from here you should be able to walk the cliffs of Moher path to Doolin. Relax in Doolin because there's nowhere better for toolin.

Thanks for this, reading between the lines and a look at google nothing is jumping out from the air port. so a bus journey needed .

I have looked at bus times and what you say is easy enough, although would start north and end south just to fit in with the bus times.

DO NOT go to Ennis. There's 77 pubs there and you will miss your connecting flight !!!!
