Hi I'm heading to the above and wanted a little advice, I'm reasonably experienced both in trad and sport climbing, I do however like to climb more so the ascetics rather than scaring myself silly! Has anyone done the lob horn traverse? how is it? I'm guessing its trad? Also are the grades around Interlaken hard for the grade? (compared to uk grades) Hope someone can help!!

Cheers Anthony

I did it quite a long time ago. Bolted on the harder bits-entry pitch and a bit later on. Otherwise stick to the ridge. Classic mountaineering type stuff. Great day. Interesting self service cable car to get up.

Yes although I honestly don't really remember much about the gear It is a mountaineering ridge and equipped accordingly. I think the photos give a bit of an idea. I remember a bolted pitch to get onto the ridge and there may have been the odd bolt after that supplemented by slings/nuts.
I remember another steeper pitch that was bolted to get onto the fin
