Just downloaded the grade comparison pdf from the BMC. Was a bit startled to notice that the final grade is E999. Seems a bit of a jump in standards has occurred without me noticing. Anyone know which route this is? A new James Pearson line maybe? Good effort anyways. Not often you get a jump in 990 'E' points in one go. Unless the BMC individual who compiled it has simply had too many 'e's.

In reply to Hugh Mongous:

Another attrocious example of the complete lack of governance within the BMC and its management.

How dare they have the audacity to unilaterally publish a pdf and change the British trad grades without first consulting the entire membership and having an EGM and postal vote for the membership. Scandalous! How many more times must we see this before action is taken?

Corporate governance demands that all BMC actions and decisions must receive prior membership approval.

Another MONC NOW!

Then dissolve the BMC. And replace it with a national club for true and proper climbers. Headed by Bob. Membership limited to 30.
In reply to Hugh Mongous:

Maybe it's so extreme, it always ends in a 999 call...?
