Just a heads up for those who care, the third and I suspect, final, series of the best comedy series on television (could never really be described as a sitcom) 'The Detectorists' starts tonight on BBC 4 10pm.

Great news - thanks for the heads up. Really enjoyed the first two series and Christmas special: there's a unique tone and feel to the series I think.

Johnny Flynn is definitely worth following, the rest of his stuff is as good as the Detectorists theme. He also had a cameo in S1 - he was the singer at the open mic night.
