Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to leave a car for several days in one of the car parks in the Langdale valley? Anyone know the cost?

There's still some free parking if you get in early.

You can leave it at campsite, £5 for 24 hrs, feel free to use toilets and showers, other options exist.

If your members of the national trust they are free. I've parked in them for a few days with no problems

Thanks for this. Do you have to book to leave a car or just turn up on the day?

Hi.

What's your policy on sleeping in your car at the campsite? I've got a mini-camper thing that doesn't take up a pitch, would that be £5 overnight or the full whack?

Haha. Actually, the reason I ask is that I did this in the summer because I wanted to get pissed in the ODG with mates who were camping and was charged £15! And I'm an NT member too. Some expensive pints they turned out to be...

In reply to Alan M:
Pretty much just turn up for that one, beware midsummer weekends, we would give priority to campers if we were getting full, we would do our best to sort something out
Cheers

Not really - prices change with the season, so 15 quid high season 9 quid low season
