When putting on my Rab down i jacket it caught on my watch and it ripped about an inch across a single patch. As this is just daily use and completely accidental I don't know whether i can get if fixed for free or not
Is it worth trying to send i back or should I just fix the whole myself?

In reply to Toby Asp:

It's damage caused by you, not a material or manufacturing fault. Therefore not the responsibility of the shop or manufacturer to repair.

Spinnaker ripstop repair tape, as suggested earlier.

Nothing to do with Rab, you broke it you fix it.
And yes, you should probably fix it all.

Give Equip a call, even though it's your fault so not covered by warranty they may be able to repair with a matching patch for a fee.

If it's older and you're not bothered about cosmetics gaffa tape is usually the DIY repair material of choice.

Hate to ask but ... saved the daffodil's what? Or is it a euphemism?

It was 20 years or so ago, but my then 10 year old Rab down jacket lost its down from a panel due to a small tear.
I contacted Rab, sent it off and they replaced the panel FOC. Cost me £5 in postage.
Still have it today, so I'd ask them and see what they say.
