So I am after a couple of recommendation for a campsites in france

Suitable for camper van
Has a swimming pool with epic slides suitable for kids

One in the south Near the atlantic and big waves for learning to surf
One in the dordogne region ideally for exploring culture/chateau/canooing/lakes etc

Any recommendations?

le Grand Pins- Lacanau on the Atlantic coast
Camping Maisonneuve-Castlenaud-la-Chapelle in the Dordogne

That was our summer holiday in 2016 and will tick all your boxes.

Camping Maisonneuve doesn’t have water slides as far as I remember.

Camping Le Moulin De Paulhiac does, it’s just a few minutes down the road. Epic for small to medium children, older teenagers might not agree.

Both lovely sites. Both also have river swimming. Maisonneuve has a slightly better spot for river swimming but Moulin has a better pool.

There's a nice one we used to go right next to the beach at Vieux Beaucoup. Pool with slides etc. For surfing the sand banks can change obviously from year to year but I always got reasonable surf and used to teach my daughter there.

It's also only a few hours to the Pyrenees from there as well.
