There isn't a wrong answer in the list
In reply to deacondeacon:
That's what I thought - I think something along the lines of "... in the context of the prize" needs appending to the question.

I think the AK50 was actually the first in the series. What a classic. I've got one and obviously it shows signs of wear but still used on a daily basis in the Cuillin. Certainly had my money's worth and really can't fault a thing about it. Simple, light, tough as nails.

Re the name, I initially wondered if maybe Andy K had helped with the design.
In reply to Michael Gordon:

I might Theo to add that as a 4th option!

I remember when Umbro launched a trainer called Zyklon... the name of the nerve gas used in Nazi death camps... it was quickly withdrawn.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people. And monkeys do too.

Deacondeacon - haven't listened to that track since the 90s I reckon, but off to look it up on Amazon now!

I just sold my original Crux A47, the non kevlar version, reckon I bought it in 2001 or 2? Good pack.

It is a little bizarre!

The combined words 'Alpine Kevlar' (the correct answer one would assume, given Crux's naming scheme) don't seem to appear once anywhere on the article, the crux website, under the product descriptions or in the older pdf catalogues.

Assuming the point of the question (like many of the competitions here) is to promote traffic to ones website its rather unusual that the answer doesn't appear to actually be there.

Yes, but you still went there to look, didn't you?

They do say it 'holds almost 50 litres'. Bit of clue I suppose there.
