Do you have an Esbit 2.35L pot?

This one specifically: https://esbit.de/en/2-35-l-pot-with-heat-exchanger-phe2350wn/

Looking for a measurement, their customer service haven't got back to me and I'm not holding out hope. What I need is the diameter between the sides of the heat exchanger.

See photo for a visual of the measurement: https://ibb.co/h8CXHR

Trying to see if this pot may fit on my stove Thanks if you can help!

Email the retailer you would buy it from were you to buy it. If they want your custom they will get their ruler out.

Have you seen the primus equivalent, 1.8l or 3l ETA pot.

Also the MSR jobbie

In reply to Dell:

As per my original post customer service aren't replying so far. Another user on here said the Primus 1.8L pot doesn't sit very well on my stove. The reactor pot is 3x the going price for similar pots and according to MSR isn't compatible with non-reactor stoves but that's probably marketing guff. There's not really a lot of choice for larger heat exchanger pots and from what I've read my stove isn't really compatible with pots that don't have a HX SO hoping the Esbit fits.

Looking at the 3 pictures, with an overall pot diameter of 202mm I'd guestimate the gap is about 100 -120mm.

Take a punt, you could probably modify stove or pan to make it fit.

Which stove do you have?

In reply to Dell:

So I found a video on YouTube reviewing the pot, traced the screen and sketched out the dimensions, converted them to the appropriate scale and my rough estimate is about 10.10cm - very close to your guess! My Primus Spider stove maxes out at around 15cm so this should give me a margin of error around 50%, which is reasonable enough to take a punt as you suggested.

Bloody customer service these days lol...

In reply to Dell:

Just received the Esbit pot, the gap measured at 9.9cm which meant I was off by about 2% (well chuffed with that). Fits well, feels well made and boils water seemingly more efficiently that my Primus 1L pot. It's not quite as base stable as my full Eta setup but happy with it!

Nice!   What windshield system have you got?

In reply to Dell:

Currently thinking about how I can DIY one, maybe out of some oven liners or something. All the foil ones seem kind of expensive for what they are. What do you use?

DIY aluminium jobbie. Could probably knock something up for you. Will send pic later.

In reply to Dell:

How much aluminium do you have knocking about?!

No more than you, you just don't know it yet.
