Hi,

I'm going roadtripping round Europe and was wondering if anyone can recommend good crags for sport climbing that have a good number of routes in the 5a-6b region?

I don't have the money to buy every guide book out there to find that theres nothing suitable in that region and it can get quite frustrating to only be able to do 1/2 routes in a crag if I've made an effort to get to it.

Current route plan: South of France & Alps -> Germania -> Scandinavia -> Balkans ->Turkey

Thanks

Got loads of easy single and multi pitches, and most of the routes have little “name tags” by the first bolt, so you don’t really need a guidebook

If you start at the very Southern-most part of France you could do worse that climb at Auzat, in Ariège. Lots of well-bolted, edgy granite. There's a Rockfax guide that gives you better info, but if you're on a shoestring the hand-drawn route topos are all online at http://cafma.free.fr/auzat/fr_auzat.htm
