i've recently spent a packet on a north face "vigor" rucsac, which is dead good! it's got all the things you could want from a sac plus about 3000 dangly straps to boot! my problem is the fully adjustable shoulder straps; they're fully adjustable, which is nice, but they don't lock in place. every time i pick it up when fully loaded the velcro just rips and everything goes beserk! am i missing something blindingly obvious (and therefore i'm stupid), or am i going to have to sew it up which'll annoy me as it'll mean i spent $120 on a crap sac? (yes, i got it on the cheap, directly from the north face sweat-shop in java)
