Quick heads up for anyone heading north west. the potholes up here are getting pretty bad as the roads taken a beating this winter. The fast sections of road along Loch Maree have a few monsters. Hate to think what it would be like hitting one on a bike at speed. Also desolation road straight has a few. I imagine other roads up here have their fare share. Hope this helps

In reply to JJ Krammerhead III: Further south between Oban and Fort William the roads are equally as bad.

This too - the section Crianlarich to Tyndrum was absolutely horrendous last week. The bend in the road to the lower bit of Glen Coe (opposite the Clachaig) also bad.

There are some absolute shockers between over the moors heading towards Glencoe - on Saturday night we hit some in the snow with lorries coming the other way - not so much potholes as craters, invisible in the shite weather.  Sufficiently bad to need to check that the wheels were still round....
