Crispi Top 6000 Plus GTX (Boots) - Worth it?

Hi folks,

Has anyone used the Crispi Top 6000 mountaineering boots?

My trusty Nepals are just about dead and I'm needing an upgrade.

I had been looking at the LA Batura's & the Scarpa Phantom Guides, however these are no longer made - Both replacement boots, the LA G5's and Scarpa Phantom Tech's are rather pricey!

Any advice, reviews or horror stories would be much appreciated.

Not sure if Crispi are even sold in the UK so you might do better with Google translate for reviews. Good price and look good though. More Nepal Extremes from Decathlon are likely to be the cheapest option for winter boots in the UK.

How old are your current Nepal's? I've been using mine again recently while working out how to fix my Trangos - 17 years old and still rockin'!

Haven’t used Crispi climbing boots, but have used their tele-stuff for close to 20 years. They fit my feet, but for some they tend to be too narrow of something. Just a heads up.

Good stuff though, and at least for tele they are as good as Scarpa. If not better .
