Thinking of going here next winter so would appreciate any suggestions for a group of about 6.

Magalaupe Camping is perfect if you're going to climb in Drivdalen (http://magalaupe.no/frontpage/index.html).
If you want to climb both in Drivdalen and Sunndalen I would suggest something closer to Oppdal like Granmo Camping, other campsites or AirBnB.
