What to do with out of date First Aid supplies?

Due to replacing the contents of our office first aid kits, I currently have a pile of assorted out-of-date plasters and dressings sat on my desk.

Any suggestions of what to do with them, before they end up in the bin?

I'll ask my daughter's pre-school if they want any for playing with, but expect they'll say no. I'll probably also use a few to replace the even-more-out-of-date ones in my personal first aid kits.

Pre-school have replied saying they'll take anything I can pass their way, so that's sorted.

Might be reading too much into your username but I have previously taken out of date bandages to scout meetings to add a bit of practical realism to a first aid training evening.  For added effect, mock up an open fracture using a pair of old ripped tousers, a dog bone and some tomato sauce!

For anyone visiting this thread curious - many charities will take out of date dressings, as long as they're sealed. FAST (First Aid Support Team) is one such charity I've volunteered with, providing first aid to refugees across Europe.

As others have said, useful for training...
