Appaling that he should be honoured ahead of Bear Grylls. I shall start a petition.

I'm very concerned about the latest developments at the BMC, see https://www.thebmc.co.uk/makeover-to-bmc-crags I hope Rob can use his influence to effect a change of policy.

We didn't tell Rob about this...either he's not seen it yet or he's unimpressed!

In reply to Natalie Berry - UKC:

Well I never, this is a surprise!

Due to being out in America currently I'm 8hrs behind, so was blissfully unaware of this as I've mostly been sleeping. When I did wake up I noticed a lot of Facebook notifications, but being on holiday didn't think to check them.

This is hilarious, other than that pic of me and the medallion which is just plain disturbing. Nice one Natalie

It’s not Facebook you should be checking, it’s your post (when you get back) for that letter from the Palace.

It's a joke now, but only a matter of time surely.
(Sadly the same is probably also true for the 3 Peaks Starbucks story!)

From the article: The UKC team reckon MBE is really short for 'Most Bloody Enthusiastic'...

Isn't 'Master Bullshitter Extraordinaire' perhaps more appropriate?

Ooh, that got some negativity.  How about:

Most Brilliantly Excellent

Remember, it was an April Fools thread, so a bit of piss taking is surely allowed?
