I am looking to source a velcro backed fur ruff to fit the hood on a Norrona Svalbard cotton anorak.

Unfortunately Norrona do not manufacture them any longer.

Does anyone have a suggestion of where these, or a similar type, can be bought?

Bergans do a fake fur attachment, possibly need to check which side of the velco is on the fur.

Jobb og Fritid in Tromsø are so far the only place with them in stock for around £20, no idea if they do international postage tho.

Several years ago I bought a bunch of ruffs for clients for a South Pole trip. I bought them here:

Wolverine is meant to be the best, but I see they no longer stock it, and even back then I think we went with some farmed Chinese fur.

Personally, though I'm not vegan, if I did it again I'd use synthetic as I don't think this is good treatment of animals.
