Does anyone know what’s the latest in the season that the north face of the Lenzspitze & the Obergabelhorn are in condition? 

Why should there be a cut off point? The Lenspitz is a high mountain with a straightforward face and provide the freezing conditions are right it should go throughout the summer. Ogabalhorn might be more seriously affected by crevasses opening on the approach. 

It will vary from year to year.

Last season the Lenzspitze was out of condition by the start of August and may well have been for some time before that but I wasn't there to see. However it was a hot summer following a dry winter.

This winter has seen huge amounts of snow so unless it gets very warm indeed it should stay in for longer.

It can suffer from really rotten ice horrible black streaked stuff.

I did it back in errrr.....2001 around July time and it was in great shape: we pretty much romped up it solo. The ridge after that over to the Nadelhorn was great fun.

By early August last year the Obergabelhorn NF wasn’t feasibly due to a mix of crevasses, seracs and death choss on the approach.
