Long shot...
I read a story online or in a book a few months ago which may have taken place in the 70's perhaps (?) about a chap who soloed Tower Ridge on Christmas Day (?). During the climb he fell off the Great Tower but landed on a ledge. When he woke up there was a young guy called Charlie (Inglis Clark) besides him dressed in old clothing and climbing equipment. They then proceeded to climb the ridge and ended up staying in the old shelter in Coire Leis due to bad weather, before ending up back in the CIC hut the next day. Part fact, part fiction maybe but certainly had me engaged at the time!
Think it might have been written by Robin Campbell but the memory evades me. Tried Googling but can't find anything, any help would be greatly appreciated!
