What is it with the latest jackets? I guess there have always been some tops shorter than others, but I really wont be buying a top which reaches just past the belly button. I've noticed reviews often include a paragraph about freedom of arm movement, less so if the whole body lifts when you raise your arms (dont they all?). It's certainly getting close to the point where there will be no chance at all of the hip-belt on your pack covering the pockets, they're going to be up under your arms! I suppose making the jackets shorter also scores on the ultralight scale.
How about we re-trend the 'parka-cut' tail where the back is longer than the front so we can all sit down in comfort?
