I'm from the US, and very few people use basket toes on their crampons. I am interested in a pair of boots that do not have toe welts (Scarpa Ribelle Tech) and whether I can make them work with Grivel G20s. Has anyone converted G20s to basket toes with success, and what did you use? Grivel makes the C2N converter, but it doesn't list as compatible with the G20. Petzl sells the Fil Flex Toe Bail, but I didn't know if it would work.
