Absolute bargain for 64.99. Used it twice now, albeit in relatively fair weather barring one wet night when it faired really well with no leaks. Up and down in about 15 mins, cant complain at all. There is no way it would sleep 4 adults but it is a great size for two adults on a double air bed.
I see you are looking for one that you can stand up in so this may well be more suited.
They look interesting thanks, these are on the right lines, but our last similar (cheap) tent was wrecked in a storm at Glenbrittle, and was wondering if anyone knew of a similar design/make, but proven to withstand severe wind and rain.
It's not the cheapest, but the Robens Fairbanks is a really good car camping tent for 2-4 people. I picked one up a couple of years ago after my daughter was born. It has silly amounts of room inside and a good porch. Pretty easy to pitch too.
We have a Cabonan Pyramid 4. Bought new 20 years ago and still brilliant. Stood up to a storm north of Skye 15 years ago that left all but a handfull of tents wreaked. Took it to the Alps last summer, worked fine. You can probably find them second hand, but being canvas they are bulky and heavy. If mine dies before I do, I'll buy a replacement in Holland. De Waard make them. Pricey, but fab. Lots of them on campsites on the continent. Mail me for pics of mine or ideas if you want.
