 UKC News 24 May 2018
Emma Twyford, James 'Caff' McHaffie and Madeleine Cope have had a productive trip to Dyer's Lookout this week, in which they completed the two ~50m king lines of the crag. Both Emma and Madeleine headpointed Dave Birkett's Once Upon a Time in the South West E9 6c and Caff ticked James Pearson's metre The Walk of Life E9 6c. Both are bold, technical face climbs on occasionally friable rock.

Great effort, just happened to see them working it on Sunday, looks really impressive. Glad they got it.

Presumably not onsight, because an E9 onsight would be too big to go unmentioned.

Seems like an unlikely choice for ground-up also, considering the seriousness of the bottom section.

Sounds like he abbed it a few times then went for it. Not clear if he tried any moves on the ab rope or not? As usual, an impressive feet that Caff brushes off as standard.

Effort to rest of the team! Considering Maddy is coming off the back of a finger injury too.

Strong effort!

Nathan Lee repeated Divided Years (E9 6c) recently and Robbie Phillips repeated The Dark Side (E9 7b) at Back Bowden

The Earthsea Triology Part 1 (E6) in the topo has already fallen off and disappeared (as of 2017 spring).  That means an impressive chunk of rock has collapsed…

Has anyone climbed the obvious square arête on the end of the slab, pointing out to sea?

In reply to masa-alpin:

Which bit of the E6 has collapsed? A pity, since it was surely the best line of the three.

It's been climbed by various routes in the past but they've all fallen down.
