Tesco did some a couple of years ago, they were a real bargain. the pack down really small to. they are adult size but not "big" adult size.

Check out the down bags at Decathlon. The ones in the Forclaz range are decent and come in a medium size. Not expensive either.

Think Cotswold do some Mammut kids down bags.

Also look bang on your requirements: https://kampaka.com/

Not down, but have a look in Mountain Warehouse - just bought 2 synthetic kids bags there for £20, half price. Pack quite small, but, obviously, not as small as a down bag.

The other option, as I'm sure you know, is to buy a womens bag, which will be shorter than a mens bag.

Maybe keep an eye out in TK Maxx, too - I popped in there this morning on the way to work and picked up a North Face "Cats Meow" bag in the clearance aisle for £58!

Chances are other branches might have other TNF bags.
