I'm wondering how skinny ropes with thinner sheaths work with these tools with teeths, a definite no-no or I'm worrying too much? I'm thinking of a crevass rescue situation with a z-drag...
Beal Opera is 8.5 mm and recommended rope diameter for both gadgets is 8-11 mm. I have used them with my Beal Cobra ropes which are 8.6 mm with no issues.
