Looking to head to Ailefroide in early September, been before but not for about 10 years. Do you need to book or just turn up? I had a quick look on the website but couldn't see.
It will be very quiet then if it's not school hols, might even be shut...I was there a week after the holidays a couple of years ago and the campsite was open but deserted and most of the shops had shut for the season.
