Hi there,

Have used search feature but not seen any posts on this since 2013 so apologies if I've missed something. Heading off to Cornwall on Friday so before sending off to Mr Amazon Prime for a guidebook, just thought I'd ask about to see if there is much bolted/stapled sport-climbing within a 2hr drive of Newquay or sensible spots to set up a top-rope without the need of trad gear?

I'm aware there's an awful lot of trad and DWS but not up for playing that game(!)

Any help gratefully received.

x

As far as I know the only sport climbing in Cornwall is at Cheesewring Quarry. There is more in Devon, within your two hour drive - Anstey's Cove

What Skip says, sport in Cornwall is fairly limited.
