Hello

Am planning a week or two in the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, from next week.

Will have a campervan, but also staying (indoors) about 1/2 hr south of Kendal.

Hoping to climb at Malham with my daughter (she wants to find a project there), so am after some recommendations of:

- campervan friendly camping (campsites or overnight spots) near Malham,
- other sports crags in the area (within 1-2 hrs drive),
- if very poor weather, any decent indoor climbing (bouldering or roped)

Thanks

Chapel Head is definitely worth a visit. I hate sport climbing, but I don't mind Chapel too much

And if it's raining, Kendal wall is very good.

I think you can take campervans to Gordale. There are heaps and heaps of sport crags in the area  An idea of what sort of grade your daughter is interested in would help narrow down the recommendations.

Thanks for the Chapel Head and For sale tips.

She's climbing up to 7a and wants a 7b/c project.

Cheers

Sorry, completely forgot to reply to this. I think the campsite in Appletreewick is camper friendly but it gets very busy so might be full. It's very close to Troller's Gill which is a fantastic spot at those grades.
