To the lads I (slightly obnoxiously) overtook on Christmas Curry yesterday who then bailed off the route: I came to find you to return your sling and to say sorry. I owe you a coffee. Hope you found some quieter, drier rock.
Damp and greasy in the morning, much to the team in front of us' horror. It dried up in the afternoon so you would have been ok but I think the holds would have been less slippery at the Beacon! (Although I'm pretty sure Stan would like the pies at Eric's Cafe!)
They did indeed get on some drier rock, teamed up with them and climbed Shadrach and another vs beside it (the name of the route escapes me). Both routes were dry, there were no over taking teams and no falls ????
